The Beginning of Something..

I am finally writing my first blog on my blog I made months ago. I always thinking about making a post on the blog, but everything I get to it, I just get scared about people reading what I write and just judging it. But I am learning to just not care and blog away haha

So, I just became Public Relations for an organization at Michigan State University. The organization is called KSA (Korean Student Association). I am psych about it because I know I can do this and I have many ideas to help KSA. But there is always something on the back of my head that is telling me what if I can't? I don't know much about PR. What if I fail at this. Luckily I've been reading this book by David Meerman Scott called The New Rules of Marketing and PR. The book is for a class that I am taking at MSU called "New Media Driver License". I am glad that I am taking this class because I was able to discover this amazing book.  The book taught me a lot about what I should be doing as PR using the new rules of it instead of the traditional kind. I am hoping I will be able to put what I learned from reading the book to use. Well, time for me to get off and put what I learned to use.
